There is no porter service at the airport, however luggage carts are provided by the Ottawa International Airport Authority for use free of charge.

The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) is responsible for air security including pre-board passenger and baggage security screening at all Canadian Airports.

The Canada Border Services Agency is responsible for enhancing Canadian security and protecting Canadian borders by managing the access of goods and people into Canada. All passengers arriving on a direct flight from a foreign destination must clear Canada Customs and Immigration in Ottawa.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection is responsible for protecting citizens of the United States by preventing terrorists and terrorist weapons from entering the United States. All passengers leaving Ottawa on a direct flight to the United States clear U.S. Customs in Ottawa prior to boarding their flight.
