On Sunday, March 2, Jetsgo will be adding Ottawa to its network. With twice-daily return flights to Toronto and same flight service onto Vancouver, this new link will also provide easy connections to Winnipeg, New York, Timmins, Halifax and Charlottetown.

Jetsgo took flight less than a year ago offering business and leisure travellers an affordable air travel alternative. This low-cost, no frills airline services ten Canadian and several American destinations with its fleet of seven Boeing Super 80 (MD-83) jets.

The Ottawa International Airport is pleased to welcome Jetsgo to the nation’s capital. “Ottawa travellers will appreciate the added option. By offering affordable airfares, this new airline will encourage travel and tourism not only in Ottawa but in Eastern Canada,” said Paul Benoit, Ottawa Airport President and CEO.

OMCIAA operates Ottawa International Airport without government subsidies under a 60-year lease transfer agreement with Transport Canada. The Authority’s mandate is to manage, operate and develop Airport facilities and lands in support of the economic growth of the National Capital Region. Its 40-year old terminal building was last expanded in 1987. Since that time, passenger traffic has increased over 35%.
