Ottawa International Airport Authority Announces Daily, Non-Stop Service to Denver CO on United Airlines
February 12, 2009 (Ottawa) - The Ottawa International Airport Authority Airport today announced new non-stop service from Ottawa to Denver, Colorado on United Airlines, beginning June 4, 2009.
“We are delighted that United has acknowledged their confidence in the market in Ottawa by adding daily Ottawa-Denver service to its schedule,” said Peter Vice, Chairman of the Board of the Ottawa International Airport Authority. “This route offers Ottawa passengers an exciting destination in and of itself, as well as a comprehensive list of connections including Los Angeles CA, San Francisco CA, Phoenix AZ and Las Vegas NV to name a few”.
Denver International Airport is United’s 2nd largest hub, and will be the western most direct US destination from Ottawa. Denver offers many connections that are not available from other United hubs including Aspen CO, San Jose CA and Tucson AZ. The flight is now available for booking.
The daily service on United Express will be operated by Shuttle America with a 70-seat Embraer 170, equipped with explus and Economy Plus. Explus provides customers with first class comfort and service on United Express regional jet service, and Economy Plus affords extra leg room at the front of the economy cabin.

The new flights will operate daily on the following schedule:
Departs Ottawa at 7:50 a.m. Arrives in Denver at 9:49 a.m.
Departs Denver at 4:55 p.m. Arrives in Ottawa at 10:30 p.m.
